“Effective with the 3.1 update, Battlegrounds Mobile India will no longer support Android 4.4/iOS 10 or below versions as we are upgrading Helpshift for better customer support experience,” said Krafton.

After the BGMI 3.1 update, players won't be able to play Battlegrounds Mobile India on devices using Android 4.4 or iOS 10 or older. To keep playing BGMI, users need to upgrade their devices to newer operating systems.

Most BGMI players likely already have devices compatible with the updated Helpshift. Besides, newer devices are typically needed to handle games like BGMI. Moreover, people usually upgrade their phones over time, so only a few players might be impacted by this change.

The upcoming BGMI 3.1 update is set to introduce an exciting Aladdin-themed or Arabian Nights-themed mode. As teased on the official battlegroundsmobilein_official Instagram account, this new mode will feature two sky castles serving as hot-drop locations. Players can expect a genie in the mode, rewarding them with a teleporter, along with the inclusion of a magical flying carpet.

According to sources, the update is anticipated to bring an upgraded P90 weapon and introduce a new female outfit in the A6 Royale Pass. Additionally, players can look forward to Nimbus Island, a fresh point of interest filled with valuable loot.
