BGMI 3.2 Update: Celebrate the Third Anniversary with New Features
BGMI's third anniversary is here, and Krafton is preparing to launch the BGMI 3.2 update as the current one wraps up. With this new update and the anniversary celebrations, players can look forward to an array of exciting new content and skins.
BGMI 3.2 Update: What’s New
To introduce the update's features and upcoming content, the developers released a podcast featuring popular esports players like Zgod, Beast, Omega, Manya, Saumraj, and Punk, hosted by Mazy.
Mecha Fusion Themed Mode
The highlight of this update is the Mecha Fusion Theme Mode, inspired by Mecha warfare. Although initially scheduled for release on May 22, the update was delayed for unknown reasons. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:
- Steel Ark: This mode replaces the current Skyhigh Spectacle mode, introducing Steel Ark ships as hot drops filled with loot. Players can now use three new Mechas to fly across the map, even over water, and engage in combat with enhanced mobility.
- Armamech: Formed by combining two Mechas, Levitron and Strider, the Armamech is a powerful battle vehicle. The Levitron can switch between speed and magnetic forms, while the Strider acts as a two-seater vehicle capable of launching missiles.
- Assembly Base: A new feature near the Steel Ark, where players can gather supplies and repair their Mechas.
Self-Reviving Device and Jetpack
Valuable loot, including a self-reviving device, can be found in the Alien Spaceship, allowing players to revive themselves. The spaceship will also drop a jetpack for flying and a magnetic gun for transporting vehicles and airdrops.
The current recall system via the recall tower will be replaced by a special respawn flare gun, which can be used anywhere to recall eliminated teammates.
Other New Content and Skins
The BGMI 3.2 Update introduces the Anniversary Crate with five different items. It also brings back Dragon Ball Super Collab Skins, a Ranveer Singh Voicepack, and his character with an outfit.
Is BGMI 120 FPS Coming?
While the PUBG Mobile 3.2 update features Mecha Fusion mode and 120 FPS support, the BGMI podcast did not mention a 120 FPS feature. Players should wait for an official announcement from Krafton.
BGMI 3.2 Update Release Date
According to Classified YT, the new update is set for release on May 29. Although it faced criticism when launched on PUBG Mobile, it remains to be seen if the BGMI 3.2 update will offer a different experience for Indian players.
