“I can’t get any chicken dinner” “Why can’t I get more kills?” “How do I tackle campers?”. Ah well, we’ve all been there! In this article, we’re going to tell you how you can improve your skills in BGMI and get better at the game.

You can also play BGMI and earn real cash by downloading the SoStronk App. You don’t have to participate in tournaments to be good at the game. Just download the app and start playing.

  1. Use Grenades (Frag/Smoke/Stun Grenade, Molotov Cocktail)
    1. Frag Grenade: Frag grenade can be used to push your enemies into a different area if they’re holding a spot. Anyone within the range of the grenade will try to make a run or end up losing a big chunk of their health. A well timed frag can easily knock the enemy down and we 100% recommend that you carry a few in your backpack.
    2. Smoke Grenade: It’s often that we find ourselves stuck in a gun battle in an open area where we don’t have any cover. That’s where a smoke grenade comes in handy. If you’re engaging in duels in multiple duels, you can simply use a smoke grenade to block one angle and isolate fights. Smoke can also be used to revive your knocked down teammates to assure you don’t become a clear target for campers aiming at your head.
    3. Stun Grenade: This is the most underrated grenade in this game. Stun can be very useful if you’re trying to push a squad inside a house. A stun grenade can blind your enemies for up to 2.5 seconds which gives you a massive advantage during a push. Just time it correctly and tell your teammates to be ready.
    4. Molotov Cocktail: Well well well, nothing like burning them alive, babbbbyyy! Molotov cocktails are evil and that’s what makes them too good. Just throw it and watch them beg. As BGMI said, it’s “Highly explosive. Do not drink.”
  2. Customize Your In-Game Layout

This is one of the most important aspects of BGMI. To be in control, you need to make sure that you’re totally comfortable with the layout. It’s different for everyone so you can customize all the buttons on your screen as per your convenience. This feature can definitely help you improve your game.

  1. Practice The Recoil

Handling the gun recoil is no joke. Especially heavy guns like AKM, Beryl M762, and to some extent M416 as well. Practice the most common rifles in training mode and be more flexible while playing because sometimes you just don’t find the rifles you desire.

  1. Don't Overcommit

Classic rule of battle royale, don’t commit without a plan. If you’re in a situation where you’ve knocked one person down and you’re not sure whether there are more people around or not, USE GRENADES and coordinate with your teammates to push accordingly.

  1. Know Your Role

Everybody has a speciality, you do too. If you often end up getting lesser finishes or knocked out early, try changing your role and see if it fits you. There is a different role for each person:

    1. Entry Fragger / Assaulter
    2. Sniper
    3. Support Player
    4. Lurker
    5. In-game Leader (IGL)

It’s important for the player to know their exact role to perform better. Try out each role for yourself and see what fits you the best. Good luck,  have fun!

In addition to the tips above, you can also try mental exercises to improve your reflexes.
